WILDCARD Privacy Policy

Publisher: 145 Studios. Last updated: 21 July 2026.

First-launch acknowledgement

WILDCARD asks each player to open and accept this policy before the game starts cloud, advertising or product-analytics services. This acknowledgement is separate from any advertising-consent choices required by Google and can be reviewed again from Settings.

Local progress

Runs, unlocks, virtual coins, settings, cosmetics and purchase-delivery claims are stored on the player's device. Android also keeps a mirrored Preferences copy. Uninstalling may remove local data. WILDCARD does not provide a save-import feature.

Optional Google account and cloud backup

Guest play remains available. If a player chooses Google sign-in, Google and Firebase provide an account identifier, display name, email address and profile photo. Private progress is stored under that account in Firebase Firestore for backup and synchronization.

Daily Board and official rankings

Posting to the custom Daily Board is optional and requires Google sign-in. WILDCARD sends the chosen short board name, score and a retry identifier to an authenticated Firebase Function. The server assigns the UTC date, applies ownership and rate controls, and forwards a signed pseudonymous record to the leaderboard service. The client-calculated board is cosmetic and awards no virtual coins. Google Play Games separately processes the player's Play Games identity and submitted high score for official rankings.

Anonymous aggregate analytics

After policy acceptance, WILDCARD can send fail-soft counters for app opens and run starts/ends to a publisher-hosted Raspberry Pi. A run-end counter contains only run mode, outcome and a broad Heat band. It excludes player or board name, Google/Firebase identity, email, install/session/device identifiers, cards, Jokers, virtual coins, save data and exact score. The service stores daily totals rather than raw events. Standard server security logs may temporarily process connection and request information.

Advertising

The Android app can use Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics and approximate location to provide, measure and protect advertising. Where required, WILDCARD presents Google's consent flow and provides privacy-choice controls in Settings.

Purchases

Google Play processes purchases. WILDCARD receives the product, order status and purchase token needed to verify and deliver an item, but not payment-card or bank details. A server-only ledger prevents duplicate grants and supports recovery, refunds and revocations. Account deletion removes the Firebase user ID and raw token; a pseudonymised product, order reference and one-way token hash may be retained for fraud prevention, duplicate-grant prevention and accounting.

Deleting an account

Signed-in players can permanently delete their WILDCARD account from Settings. This removes the Firebase Authentication identity, cloud save and custom Daily Board records. Players without the app can use the public account-deletion instructions. Deletion does not erase a separate offline device save or records retained independently by Google Play.
